Voyageur Canoeing: Paddle a Big Canoe

These huge canoes got their name from the early French explorers who arrived on the shores of modern day Canada and needed a way to navigate the waterways while transporting groups of men and hundreds of pounds of equipment and supplies.

ORCKA is proud to have a number of organizational members who offer this unique canoeing experience through a variety of programs, beginning with the basics and working up to more complex maneuvers.
