Levels 1 Tandem Canoeing: This 5-hour combined course provides hands-on training in topics such as equipment knowledge, selection, and care; safe canoeing procedures; day trip packing; government regulations; launching and removing the canoe; entering and exiting; positions in a canoe; paddling a straight line; turning and stopping. These courses are recommended for ages 9+.

Level 1- Sat. May 17, 8 am - 1 pm
Level 1 - Sat. June 14, 8 am - 1 pm
Level 1 - Sat. June 28, 8 am - 1 pm
Level 1 - Sat. July 19, 8 am - 1 pm
*We also offer Levels 2 and 3 which include: pivots; sideward displacement, balance; trim; canoe rescues; re-entering the canoe from the water; transporting canoes on vehicles; environmental awareness; windy weather precautions; and a short “canoe tour” of the venue. These courses are recommended for ages 12+. Discounted price if taking all 3 levels over 2 days: $200 total per person.
