This will be an intensive and challenging leadership course in bigger water. The course will focus on leading sea kayaking daytrips, performing efficient and effective rescues, and performance of the coastal kayaking core and advanced skills in coastal conditions.
Prerequisites: ORCKA Coastal Kayaking Level 1, or equivalent certification, comparable skills, and experience (with permission of the course instructors); eight coastal kayak trips each of five hours duration; 17yrs of age
