This is the
Basic Canoe Instructor Upgrade course. This course is for those who already have their ORCKA Camp Canoe Instructor and want to upgrade to the full ORCKA Basic Instructor course. This course is fun over a weekend with a zoom session the Wednesday prior, plus assignments. You must have your Camp Canoe Instructor certification to take this course. Course date(s): Zoom session May 25th and practical sessions June 4th and 5th, 2022. Plus assignments which are due prior to May 25th.
There are two components to this course. An online Zoom session will be held May 25th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The practical session which will run June 4th and 5th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Sunday. Be prepared for a long day.
Please note that there are pre-course assignments. We suggest you sign up no less than two weeks before the course start start date or it will be difficult for you to complete the assignments.
